a stormy night in a boring part of the city where you can't walk around for all the cars, staying in an unremarkable corporate hotel that cost too much money. this was the night that rob and i first encountered el jimador (tequila) and squirt (like fresca). we liked it so much that after giving up on vera cruz, we brought a couple of bottles back to the hotel and spent the night watching tv and getting really really drunk.
we were so high that this fog is actually clouds
 the cloud/fog was pretty remarkable
passing through the mountains on the way to the gulf coast. this was vey high up.
these billboards were a part of a boring national campaign, but it's kind of neat to see a giant Visa card that looks like it was dropped by god.
there are lots of slums surrounding mexico city
 recycling
the truck cut us off. the shoes were all over the place.
